What is Toyota Connected Services?

Toyota Connected Services is a new technology feature included in the All-New Yaris Cross.  This service allows you to be more connected than ever when out on the road, keeping you and your loved ones safe and secure.  

How Does Connected Services Work?

Connected Services will automatically connect to emergency services if the vehicle detects that you are in need of assistance.  If you experience a collision or breakdown, the vehicle will automatically send out your GPS location to the closest emergency services to get you the help you need, faster.  

If you need services that are not recognised by the vehicle (for example a medical emergency unrelated to the driving of your car) you can simply press a button and you will be connected to a call centre.  This call centre will take your details, determine your location and connect you with the closest emergency services.  

What If My Car Is Lost Or Stolen?

If your car is lost or stolen, Connected Services can use the GPS locator to find your vehicle and send its location straight to the police, helping you find your vehicle.  

This is really fun, new and safe technology, especially for those of us out here living in rural and regional Australia.
